A suite of wedding cards created in 2018 for a creative bride on a budget. The bride wanted the invitation to feature the rustic farmhouse at their event space as and the design to be engravable into a stamp. In order to create a stamp-able design, I had to take into consideration line weights and the possibility that small details may blur together.
Recreating the farmhouse as a line drawing posed the biggest challenge, especially trying to convey its character without overwhelming the design with small details. And although the final result did lose some of its finer detail, the stamped metallic gold ink added unexpected dimension to the design.
